Spencer Ezell began his musical career at the age of 18, writing and singing for a local Tennessee band called Cold Shoulder in his hometown area of Weakley and Obion County.

In 2005, he made the life changing move to Nashville where he co-founded the highly successful rock group, Generation Down. GD became one of the hottest Nashville bands on the scene, releasing two albums, "Reality Crisis" and "What Remains" during their run. They also won radio awards and gained accolades along with earning much respect.

Spencer embarked on a solo venture in 2008, which eventually transformed into the short lived band, Elegant Monsters. EM, while never having their own album, toured several cities in central and eastern US performing music from Spencer's debut solo album, "Life After Tomorrow." Most of these songs were re-released and featured on later albums.

In 2011, Spencer recreated himself and his efforts and approached music with a more radio-friendly, pop/rock sound and a positive message. During that time, he performed all across the country from Hollywood California to Orlando Florida and in between, made TV and radio appearances and greatly grew his internet presence all initially under the group name, EZELL, then for a short time later, as The Spencer Ezell Band supporting his albums, "hour23" released in 2011, "Bridge Our Division" (2013) and "Seasons" (2014).

In 2014, Spencer completed his 3rd full-length original release and a traditional Gospel album in his newly opened home studio and record label, New Creature Music, in Nashville Tennessee. He then made the decision to redirect his focus and passion into full-time ministry with his music.

In 2015, Spencer became the worship leader and music director at Calvary Chapel Murfreesboro  and on Valentine's Day 2017, released his new EP, "The Human Condition."

He has nothing but big plans going forth for his cause, purpose and ministries.

Galatians 5:17 tells us that the spirit and the flesh are constantly at war. Though we are saved by grace and no longer OF this world, we are still IN this world.

This collection of new original music reflects that struggle we all battle with when following Christ, as well as the love we should always express to others.
